First offering will be the Cherrywood hand dyed fabric that I purchased starting in 1987 from Dawn, the originator of the dyeing method.  She was the niece of a friend of mine.  It is in gradations on most of the bundles.  A few are just random pieces grouped together.  If you aren't familiar with Cherrywood everybody says it looks like suede.  Here is my disclaimer:  There could possibly be a slight fade mark on a fold but I didn't see any when I was grouping it.  Also there may be a circle cut out of some of the pieces or a strip may have been cut off.  The fat quarters are approximately 18" x 19" because the fabric used was 40" wide and it has been washed in the dyeing process.

#23 Paper piecing patterns for Montana Cartwheel and border.

Pattern from 1996

I really thought I was going to make this one and cut fabric strips for it.

The pattern calls for 4.5" width strips which I cut from all of the Hoffman batiks available in the late 1990s.  This is 30 full width strips (1/8 yard each, 3 3/4 yards).

This is another 13 half width or longer strips also 4.5" wide.

I would like to sell it as a set for $35.  If someone only wants the patterns they would be $18 for the 2 of them.  I would then price the fabric separately at $25.

Plus shipping.  SOLD

#24 Bohunk's Fancy by Karen K Stone, a paper piecing pattern.

This photo shows the 2 yard piece folded so you are seeing 1 yard of it.

In this photo I folded back the top yard so you see both layers.  I love this print but I know I'm never going to use it. I hope it finds a new home.

#6 Log Cabin rubber stamp

About 1.75" square.  No seam allowance added on the stamp, you need to cut 1/4 I away from the last line to finish the blocks.

It still has its price sticker on it.  I would be happy to see it go to a new home for $5 plus shipping.

SOLD

==================================

#7 Half log cabin rubber stamp.  Approximately 2.25" blocks.

Included are a few prints on fabric.

Seam allowance is included around the block.

I made a little quilt with this stamp.  It is 12" x 16".  These are the 1980s calicos which were tiny prints.

The stamp (and instruction sheets and prints on cotton) is $9 plus shipping.

SOLD....

====================================

#8 Album block rubber stamp.

This is also called a signature block.  It is approximately a 3" block.

This stamp also includes a seam allowance around the block.

$6 plus shipping.

SOLD

====================================

#9 Decor thread.

This thread is too soft to use on a sewing machine and not tightly twisted.  I think maybe we used it on a serger.  It can be couched down for decorative use.

A little has been used off all of the spools.

$5 for 9 spools plus shipping.

SOLD

===============================================

#10 metallic threads.

I think these can be used on a sewing machine if you are patient and use a metallica or topstitching 80 needle.  They can also be used for hand sewing, short lengths work best.

All new, full spools.

Some used off these but lots left.

10 spools, $5 plus shipping.

SOLD

================================

#11 Ribbon floss.

This is a flat braided yarn.  We might have used it on a serger but I mostly used it as a couching thread for accents around shapes on a quilt.

If you enlarge this photo you can see the braided effect on the green ribbon floss.

I did a search to see if this is still available and found YLI ribbon floss.

$8 plus shipping.

SOLD

=====================================

#12 Ardco templates.  These templates are made of metal and are hollow shapes so you can mark the cutting line and the sewing line on your fabric.  They would be handy for fussy cutting motifs on fabric.

The back of the templates have a grit like sandpaper so they don't slip while you are drawing your lines.

This set will make an 8 point star block.  If my calculations are correct I think it will be a 10" block.  I couldn't find any for sale when I did a search.  I first saw them when I went to an NQA show in the 1980s.

$10 plus shipping

SOLD

#13 Lil' Twister template and instructions.

This is new, never used.

#14 Two triangle rulers.
